Lovely Day, LLC (“Lovely Day”) is committed to protecting your privacy. At the same time, you should be aware that the purpose of the Site is to provide a forum for the free sharing of ideas, insights and solutions on major societal issues (from livelihood to healthcare) by and among creative mavericks, entrepreneurs, revolutionaries, radicals, and innovators with the goal of defining problems and opportunities for solutions and harnessing the massive power and potential of communication technology to do good in the world. This privacy policy tells you about our online collection, use and disclosure of information from you, including personal information. It also tells you what personal information about you will be publicly viewable on the Site (please see the section below entitled “Publicly Viewable Information”). The terms of this policy apply to all information collected by Lovely Day on the Site.

The Site is a social innovation platform intended to encourage the free sharing of ideas and opportunities for solutions for pressing problems in our world. Therefore, all content submitted for posting on or through the Site is for public consumption, and you should not have any expectation that your ideas, innovations and other submissions will be treated as confidential or proprietary to you.

All of the personal information referred to in this section will be publicly viewable on the Site (collectively, “Publicly Viewable Information”). Publicly Viewable Personal Information includes:

Other Personal Information

In addition to Publicly Viewable Information which you choose to post, we also collect other personal information that you provide to us on or through the Site or through your other interactions with us, such as in e-mails or telephone conversations.

Personal information collected by Lovely Day or third parties performing services on our behalf (other than Publicly Viewable Information) may include the following: your name, username and password for the Site, your e-mail address, your account name for any third-party service (such as Google, Yahoo! or Twitter) that you use to log onto the Site, and your location (should you choose to provide it).

You may always choose not to provide personal information, but if you so choose, certain services and features of the Site may not be available to you.

Except as set out in this privacy policy, Lovely Day does not disclose or sell your personal information to any third parties.

Publicly Viewable Information you submit for your personal profile page or post on Interactive Areas is publicly viewable (for more information, please see the section above entitled “Publicly Viewable Information”). In addition, Lovely Day actively collects, compiles, analyzes and shares Publicly Viewable Information with its sponsors and clients for research purposes.

We may also disclose your personal information to third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf. For example, we may engage other companies to host the Site, to transmit e-mail communications and/or marketing communications, to conduct audits, to provide web analytics, etc. These third-party service providers (i) shall be permitted to obtain only the personal information they need to provide the service, and (ii) must protect personal information to the same extent as Lovely Day, including not using it for any improper purpose.

We do NOT share personal information with unaffiliated third parties for their own direct marketing use. However, you should be aware that these and other third parties visiting the Site may see your Publicly Viewable Information and may use it for solicitation persons. In addition, from time to time, we and/or our event co-hosts (such as the Feast Social Innovation Conference (the “Feast”)) may introduce certain users and/or commentators on the Site (or certain speakers and/or commentators at events hosted or sponsored by us or the Feast), to our respective clients and sponsors for purposes of facilitating workshops and other collaborations. You agree that we and the Feast may provide your name, contact information (including e-mail address and Twitter username) and relevant communications on or through the Site to such clients and sponsors in furtherance of these purposes. However, we have no obligation to do so, and any selections will be made in our sole discretion.

We may also disclose personal information to cooperate with law enforcement authorities, a court or administrative agency, or other governmental authority in connection with an investigation or legal proceeding or where otherwise required or permitted by applicable law.
